BLUETOOTH DEVICE SYNC LAB

Practice connecting a home health device, like a blood pressure monitor or a glucometer, to your phone. Same steps work for almost any Bluetooth health device.

Step 1 of 4

Before You Start

Tap each one to check it off. Skipping these is the most common reason a pairing fails.

Step 2 of 4

Enter Pairing Mode

Press and hold your device's sync button, right on the picture below, for a full 3 seconds. Not a quick tap, a real hold.

Press and hold, don't just tap.

Step 3 of 4

Find It On Your Phone

Your device's name will appear in a list. Tap it, then tap Connect.

If you don't see it: your device may have gone back to sleep. That's normal, just press and hold the sync button again for another 3 seconds, and it will reappear.
Step 4 of 4

Confirm It Worked

A real connection shows on both screens, and a practice reading proves the data actually transfers.

You Paired a Device!

You checked your prerequisites, entered pairing mode the right way, found and connected your device, and confirmed a real reading came through. That is the whole process, on any Bluetooth health device you will ever set up.
